Former deputy Senate president of Nigeria, Ike  Ekereremadu has been denied bail following his arrest over alleged organ harvesting.

The court previously said that the case involved exploitation and the harvesting of an organ.

According to varacity news report claims that Ekereremadu and Beatrice his wife were arrested in United kingdom few weeks ago for plotting to traffic a 21 years homeless man into London to harvest a kidney for their sick daughter.

It was reported that Beatrice and Ike trafficked the man from the street of Lagos down to United Kingdom in order to harvest his organ.

Judge Richard Mark the common serjent of London spoke; the position is that I have granted bail to Mrs Beatrice Ekereremadu subject to some fairly stringent condition but I will not bail Ike Ekereremadu.
