The birthday party of one of the state's well-known figures was attended by His Excellence, Chief Ezenwo N. Wike, the executive governor of Rivers State.

The 60th birthday celebration of Chief Wenenda Wali, commonly known as K. Man, took place in Port Harcourt, and attendees included Rivers State's current governor, Nyesom Wike, previous governors Rt. Hon. Chibuike Rotimi Amaechi and Sir Celestine Omehia, as well as APC guber candidate Tonye Cole.

For the first time in a long time, governor Nyesom Wike and former governor Amaechi attended the same event.

People are now calling for the reunion of the two sons of Ikwerre, who finished second in the primaries of their respective political parties.

Tonye Cole, the Rivers State APC governorship candidate, came as well to support Chief Wali. Sim Fubara, the People's Democratic Party's (PDP) candidate for governor, was not visible.
