Noble Dainge Tamunoateli was sentenced to 19 years in jail by Uyo high court.

The Uyo Zonal Command of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, or EFCC, filed 11 accusations against Tamunoateli, and he was arraigned on those charges on July 19, 2021.

Noble Dainge Tamunoateli, a convicted serial online fraudster, was given a 19-year prison term for impersonating someone else, possessing forged documents, and laundering N14,751,558 (Fourteen Million, Seven Hundred and Fifty One Thousand, Five Hundred and Fifty Eight Naira).

In Uyo, Akwa Ibom State, Justice Toyin Bolaji Adegoke of the Federal High Court passed judgment on him.

The Uyo Zonal Command of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, or EFCC, filed 11 counts against Tamunoateli, and on July 19, 2021, he was charged.

He entered a "not guilty" plea to the accusations, and bail was granted.

Investigations revealed that the defendant had submitted fabricated medical records to the court through his attorney, Ewa Okpo Edmund, nicknamed Street Lawyer, and the court revoked the bail.
